There are four working angles and they are:
• 17° angle – this angle is the most delicate angle and it impacts the best sharpness on your knives. It is used mostly for fillet knives, razor blades
• 20° angle – this angle is commonly used for blades with higher quality. It provides the blades (for example, slicing knives and kitchen cutlery) with an excellent and sharp edge
• 25° angle – this angle is ideal for knives that are subjected to more impacts, it gives a durable and sharp edge. Examples of knives that are sharpened using this method are hunting knives.
• 30° angle- this working angle is used for knives that are used to cut hard materials such as carpets, cardboard, rope etc.it is the best working angle for heavy-duty use.
The clamp is used to hold the knives to facilitate sharpening of both sides of the knife to the required sharpness
