There is less maintenance and fuel when using a Cylinder Stove. With the 1/8″ steel used in the Cylinder Stove it gives more radiant heat and holds the heat longer and is warp free as well. The quality of Cylinder Stoves speaks for itself, they are tough and built to last. The Cylinder Stove is designed to be easy to use. All the edges, corners and rough spots are ground smooth with the joints welded tight. The door and top of the stove are constructed with .135, 10 gauge steel. The body, legs and the rest are built from .105; 12 gauge and .075; 14 gauge steel with the cylinder formed from rolled steel, not from a piece of pipe or a barrel.
The Cylinder Stove has welded braces on the underneath for a flat cooking surface for a warp free design. The square frame for the door is welded to the inside insuring a tight seal and keeping the door flat. The stove is virtually warp free with the round cylinder design by allowing the stove to uniformly expand and contract. The ashes will settle at the bottom of the cylinder which prevents the stove from burnout and keeps the heat off of the tent floor.
Drake Stevenson –
I’ve had my Yukon stove for about 10 years and absolutely love it. It is well built, and well designed. Three years ago I went on a deer hunt in Michigan. When we set up the tent, there was no snow. The next day we had two feet of snow, temps in the single digits, and I was walking around inside the tent barefoot and in boxer shorts. I firmly believe I couldn’t have done it with another manufacturers tent stove. Everyone that sees my cylinder stove is impressed with the quality, simplicity, ruggedness and heat that it puts out. THANK YOU!
